Schmach has been the thinker who I’ve been studying + learning the most from by far (it’s not even close lol) since I discovered him about 10 months ago, dope that you post about him right as I found my way to your Substack (been an IG follower + YT subscriber for a while now, finally decided to explore Substack more lol)
Glad to have you down here! You know I learnt a while back that Schmach was either home schooled and/or self taught not sure which one. I think that probably contributed to his very interdisciplinary, anti-mimetic way of thinking, which is so much needed.
Yep, he said the way his homeschooled him was basically what is called “Unschoolling” today, where it’s more learning what the kid is interested in & just facilitating & guiding it to nurture their curiosity. (Also now that he’s an adult he’s an autodidact, too. But ig autodidacticism is kinda just unschooling for adults lol)
