In addition to my essays and ‘around the web’ posts, starting soon, I will be attempting a new blog session on book reviews which will come in two flavors: bite-size reviews and long reviews. For the former, the goal is to write something you can read in only four minutes; and see for yourself if it’s a book you will enjoy. If you have been following me on Instagram, these upcoming blog posts will be an extension of what I post there, book-wise, but now with more word counts.
For the long book reviews, this will be ideally a book I really enjoyed and want to write a couple of thousand words about (I will assume this will be rarer than short versions)
And if you are new here, my interests are transdisciplinary, so you can expect book reviews from the following subject areas: philosophy, biomedicine, psychology, theology, sociology/anthropology, startups, chemistry, statistics, machine learning, etcetera.
In the meantime, this is what I am currently reading:
A Shorter Summa: The Essential Philosophical Passages of Saint Thomas Aquinas' Summa Theologica by Peter Kreeft
Build: An Unorthodox Guide to Making Things Worth Making - The New York Times bestseller by Tony Fadell
